Art direction + creative leadership

Art direction.
From system to screen.

I like being close to the work.I develop the idea, design it, and help the team carry it through. My work spans sports, travel, motion, and 3D.Let’s talk art direction ↗
5 years of system ownership

I created the Delta × Seahawks 12Status system and kept developing it across successive campaigns.

A reusable fleet library

I procured an approved 3D fleet that teams now use in safety videos and agency end cards.

Agency animation direction

I directed the centennial safety video’s 3D portion with an external agency.

I took the materials and small details of Delta’s premium cabin and worked them into a shoe.

I designed Delta sponsorship work for columns, ribbons, walls, and outdoor displays. Each surface needed its own layout.

Build the assets.
Direct the experience.

I also build aircraft imagery, direct 3D animation with agencies, and contribute to live experiences.

Small object.
Clear identity.

I designed these Delta-branded RFID tags and used 3D to show how the options would look on luggage.

Campaign systems.
Distinct expressions.

I approached Team USA and 12Status differently. The partnership and the place where the work appeared shaped the choices.

About Rondell

The big picture.
The details, too.

I care about what happens when someone looks closely. The material, the type, the way something moves—all of it affects whether an idea feels right. I’m willing to keep refining a detail when it pulls attention away from the work.

At Delta, I’ve designed stadium sponsorship creative, guided junior designers, and created the Delta × Seahawks 12Status system, which I evolved over roughly five years. I like a brand system that gives people room to make good work. It needs enough structure to stay recognizable and enough flexibility to suit the surface, the audience, and the moment.

I’m hands-on, and I question how the work gets made. I championed in-house 3D aircraft imagery, procured an approved fleet library, and worked with TechOps, Marketing, Sales, and an agency to get the details right. I also directed the 3D portion of the centennial safety video with the external agency. That library now supports safety videos and agency end cards. I value decisions that improve the piece in front of us and make the next project easier.

I also provided editorial feedback on agency-edited films for Tom Brady: Well Traveled.
